Developing a children's book series TOGETHER with children about soil diversity 📚

Finally, I say it out loud! This year we are going to develop a super cool children's book series TOGETHER with children about soil diversity 📚 "The soil what?", the soil yes. Because a seed + soil = not always a plant if that soil is of poor quality. And that is, unfortunately, the case in many places in the Netherlands 🌾

So De Vlinderstichting (Dutch Butterfly Conservation), IUCN NL, Nederlands Instituut voor Ecologie (NIOO-KNAW) and Centre for Soil Ecology joined forces and created a three-year program 'Onder het Maaiveld', funded by the Nationale Postcode Loterij and supported by IVN, Instituut voor natuureducatie, Stichting Steenbreek, Together for Biodiversity and Wij.land.

The goal? Restoration of soil life in the Netherlands, as a basis for healthy nature and a healthy society 🙌🏼 Full confidence ahead! 💪🏼
